Sample Size Revision.
We originally planned to recruit 450 people with severe mental illness and type 2 diabetes across England to take part in the DIAMONDS RCT. After extensive talks with our programme management team, programme steering committee, and some recalculations by our wonderful statisticians, we have been able to revise our target sample size down to 380 people.
This means that we're much closer to reaching our new target, with 70% of participants recruited. We hope to reach our new target by the end of September 2024.
Participant Update - We now have 266 participants recruited to our DIAMONDS randomised controlled trial!
